Ubertas has recently attended several IT Service Management Forum (ITSMF) events as part of our sustained focus upon the continuous improvement of our service delivery methods.
The ITSMF is an internationally recognised forum for IT Service Management professionals. They provide a platform for members to share experiences and promote industry best practice and standards, and offer expertise, information sources and events.
Ubertas has been involved in the Special Interest Group hosted by the National Records Office of Scotland, focusing specifically on Continuous Service Improvement (CSI). This explored topics such as how traditional metrics apply to CSI, the communication of overall CSI objectives as well as the impact of both stakeholders and customers. Last week, we were in attendance at Heineken's Edinburgh premises to witness an interactive ITSM simulation delivered by G2G3 amongst other pertinent issues of discussion.
Ian Gillon, Ubertas Service Operations Manager, commented that:
"We have been very impressed with the events which have been held by the ITSMF, which have given us additional insight into how current service management best practice operates and how trends are affecting this. We look forward to being a continued part of the ITSMF and enjoying the subsequent benefits which this delivers to our service function."
